CAPF exam 2019 interview schedule was released on October 6. The Union Public Service Commission will conduct the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) from November 2, 2020. The UPSC CAPF interview will be conducted until November 12. The interview schedule for the rest of the candidates will be released later. The CAPF exam is conducted to recruit the Assistant Commandant Officer in the Central Armed Police Forces.
The UPSC CAPF 2019 Interview call letter (e-summon) will be uploaded at upsconlinemic.in on October 12, 2020. The CAPF candidates are advised to download their e-summon letters with all enclosures. The candidates are required to produce the printout of their e-summon letter at the time of the CAPF interview.
Reimbursement of Air-Fare
The UPSC has decided to reimburse the lowest economy class ‘to and fro’ air-fare to the candidates coming to appear in the CAPF interview because the train services are not fully functional. The UPSC has mentioned the following conditions for such reimbursement.
- The candidate should choose the economy class reservation in the flights operating in his/her sector.
- The candidates should book the ticket directly with the airlines (online), airlines counter or any agent authorised by Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance (Ashoka Tours and Travels, Balmer and Lawrie and IRCTC)
- The reimbursement will be done for the tickets taken from the nearest airport depending on the address of the candidate given in the CAPF application form
- The candidates will be required to produce the receipt/air ticket (for both sides) showing details of the fare charge with boarding pass (for the onward journey only) for claiming airfare.
- Along with this notice, COVID-19 related instructions were also released for the candidates coming for the CAPF interview.

COVID-19 related Instructions
The candidates will be required to maintain the social distancing norms and the personal hygiene norms floated by the Ministry of Home
- Every candidate will be required to wash his/her hand at regular interval of time and spitting at the public place is strictly prohibited
- The mask is mandatory for all the candidates coming to appear in the CAPF interview
- The candidates will be required to remove their mask when asking for verification by the appropriate authority.
- The candidate must inform the Commission if he or she develops or experiences any COVID-19 positive symptoms. The commission has released an email to communicate this information. The candidates can communicate soe23-upsc@gov.in.
- If a candidate is COVID-19 positive or having symptoms similar to it, the Commission will separately decide the case and he or she will be communicated the decision on his or her email_id immediately.
- The commission will provide a sealed kit to the candidates reaching for the CAPF interview. The sealed kit will contain a face mask, face shield, a bottle of sanitizer and hand glove. The UPSC has done all the arrangements to shield the interviewer and the interviewee appropriately.
- The UPSC staff will also follow all the guidelines of social distancing and will be wearing the essential protective gear. The candidates seating arrangement will also follow the social distancing guidelines.
The UPSC CAPF 2019 interviews will be conducted at the UPSC office premises in New Delhi.
