Himalayan University was established in 2013. It is a non-profit university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India under section 2f of UGC act 1956. The university was established with a vision to provide quality education to all in the state of Arunachal Pradesh and to develop and uplift the economy through higher education to raise the literacy rate that make up especially North Eastern part of India as well as all other parts of India. The university is a private university, established by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The university has been awarded as Excellent Progressive University (North East) by AICTE in 12th World Education Summit 2018 Elets Awards held on 9 & 10 August 2018 at New Delhi.

Venkateshwara Open University was established in 2012, in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. This private university has a record of providing UGC recognised courses, while simultaneously being a member of AIU. VOU has a record of providing 150+ courses across 15+ total streams through 8 constituent schools. The University has provided 1500+ placement offers to the students so far. To conclude, VOU has a prestigious reputation among other universities. It is known to be established through the Arunachal Pradesh State Legislative Act, LAW/LEGN-10/2012 Arunachal Pradesh (Act No.10 of 2012).

No, you cannot become a lawyer without a Law degree. You mandatorily need to obtain degrees such as BA/BCom/BSc/BBA LLB or LLB in order to be a lawyer in India. To become a lawyer, one must first complete three-year or five-year LLB from a recognised university and possess degree certificate. Then, they must enrol themselves in local Bar Council of the concerned state and enrolled as an advocate. Within two years of the enrolment, they must appear and clear AIBE in order to be eligible to practise anywhere in India.

A: 

Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh, is considered a Tier 2 university. It is also a Central University. The university is recognised by the UGC and accredited with an A Grade by NAAC. It does not achieve the same level of recognition as Tier 1 schools, which are usually those that rank higher in national evaluations and have a more established reputation in the engineering sector, despite offering a variety of programs, having decent facilities, and providing placement possibilities.
