Kumaun University offers scholarships to the BA programme students who are meritorious or who belong to particular categories. Kumaun University BA scholarships are offered by the University, UGC as and various departments of the Government. The names of some of the offered scholarships are CSIR Scholarship, Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship, merit-cum-means Scholarships, etc. 

The largest share of Uttarakhand Open University alumni are working in Operations (33%) followed by Education (24%) sectors. The other sectors that UOU alumni are working in are Business Development (17%) followed by IT (13%) and Sales (13%) sectors.

Himalayan Garhwal University (MAHGU) offers a BA in various specialisations. The tuition fee payable for various specialisations ranges between INR 36,500 and INR 90,500 for three years. In addition to the tuition fees, candidates may be required to pay additional one-time charges.
