Normally in February every year, a notification from ICAR is given for admission to Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral courses of various Agricultural Universities and Colleges of ICAR and States. The process is online for this a link is provided on the ICAR website http://www.icar.org.in and also on the websites of agricultural universities and colleges.

There is an online entrance exam like JEE, AIEE, etc. in the second week of June, based on the course applied among the eligible candidates. The result is declared in four weeks. The eligible candidates are called for counselling at Delhi and are given a choice from their preference purely on merit bases however category reserved seats, SC, OBC etc. are called first.

The university allot seats on a merit-basis or scores in the CUET/IUCET exam. It may consider the reservation policy of the state or central government. Invertis University BSc Agriculture seat intake is 150. This course has the maximum number of seats. Students have to participate in the counselling round to get a seat. Admission to Future University for 2026 is available based on merit in last qualifying exam. They can also get admission through entrance-exam scores.
