Uttaranchal University doesn't have any free course. Candidates must pay the course-wise to get admission. However, the university does offers few scholarships for their students. Students can avial these scholarships as an fee consession. Candidates must make sure to be eligible for the scholarships and apply for the same with supporting documents. HNB Garhwal University is a decent, government-run Central University in Uttarakhand. 

• Pros: It holds prestigious NAAC 'A' grade. Fees are highly affordable making it great for budget-conscious students. The campus environment is beautiful & the professors are well-qualified & helpful.

• Cons: On-campus placements are average so students must find jobs on their own. 

It is excellent for an affordable, basic degree but you must work hard independently to secure a corporate job.

The number of students placed in 2024 during Shri Guru Rami Rai University placements has not been released yet. Once out, it will be updated here. Meanwhile, students can refer to the table below which states the percentage of students who secured job placements:

31% of the total seats are reserved by MAHGU for students who are permanent residents of Uttarakhand. In addition to this, the university sets seats aside for those who are PWD (those with a minimum impairment of 40%) and SC/ST/OBC. Furthermore, some seats at Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University have been allocated aside for PIOs, Foreign Nationals, and NRIs.
