MSc Microbiology course admission 2025 requires at least 50% to 60% marks in graduation from BSc Microbiology or a relevant field. The admissions to the MSc Microbiology course are both merit-based and entrance exam-based. The entrance exam criteria is not mandatory for all MSc Microbiology colleges in India.

MSc Microbiology is a 2-year post-graduate course that is generally divided into 4 semesters in most government and private colleges of India. 

The main subject topics in MSc Microbiology syllabus includes Morphological Characteristics of Bacteria, Structure and Properties of Mono, Classification and Structure of Amino Acids, Soil Microbiology, Aquatic Microbiology, Fermentation Technology, and others.

Candidates seeking admission in JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research must fulfil the eligibility and selection requirements. The selection criteria varies course-wise. Candidates consider merit in the last qualifying exam for BSc, MSc, BBA, etc. For courses such as MD, MBBS, BDS, etc., entrance exams are accepted. Hence, direct admission is not available in JSS Mysore.

University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore is a govt. institute that is recognised by UGC. Below given are the reasons to choose University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore:

• Known for Agricultural courses: The institute well-known for its BTech and BSc agricultural courses.

Kristu Jayanti College M.Sc course admission is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam. Candidates must make sure to have a valid qualification, i.e., Three-year degree, along with a Post Graduate Diploma fyear degree Ffve years undergraduate. Direct admission to the MSc course might not be applicable, since the college conducts counsellling rounds for shortlisting candidates for final admission. 

It is mandatory to clear the JET exam to qualify. The admission through JET programs is based on merit and rank obtained by students in entrance exam. After clearing written exam there will be face group discussion and Personal Interview round.
