However, as per some unofficial sources, Aalto University has an acceptance rate between 18% to 20%. With such a low acceptance rate, it is very hard to get into the university. As per the experience of one of the student at Aalto University, you expect the following.
a)Student life includes lot’s of drinking, it’s not mandatory, but you’ll be out of it if you don’t drink.
b) Finnish people drink loads of coffee, drinking coffee is the biggest social thing we have.
c) Get a 30-day student bus ticket. It’s quite cheap and you can use the metro, trams, local trains, local ferries and busses with it.
d) We Finns are not chatty people, but if you need help with something, just ask for help. We’ll be happy to help.
