The minimum eligibility for non-commerce graduates with subjects other than Mathematics with an aggregate of 55% marks and non-commerce graduates with Maths with an aggregate of 60% marks are exempted from the Competency Professional Test and are permitted to register for Professional Competency Course. My personal suggestion will be please go and visit JNU campus a friendly environment with beautiful plants and flowers a good security. You are in need to visit Administrative block where you can go for inquiry section. The people inside the campus are quite helpful they will guide you through the process of admission and good food are also available there.

Without a single doubt, you should take maths with commerce. It will help you for anything you decide to study, be it getting into top notch college for graduation or clearing any competitive exams. It always gives you edge over people without maths. If you want to crack UPSC CSE and you are serious for that then don't go for any other courses after graduation because it doesn't matter. You should continue preparation for the exam only.
