Some universities offers multiple electives and allow students to specialise in a particular subject in a final year. Some legacy universities offer B.Com degree course. Students of all streams are eligible to seek admission in B.Com. The admission in B.Com is based on marks obtained by candidates in 10+2. Admissions are also based on the cut-off marks in 10+2. Some universities ask for best of four subjects and some total marks scored in 10+2. Any Diploma in engineering graduate who has done Diploma after class 10th board is not eligible to seek admission in B.Com because currently Diploma in engineering is not deemed equivalent to 10+2 and students cannot be put at par with 10+2 students of different boards.
