It is upto you that which topic you choose all as per your interest and on what basis, you will get the material for the same. Should have no problem in the context of gathering data all the way. Choose accordingly. That must be related to your field that is commerce.

If you want to go in the field of teaching, then you should opt for M.Com, but in coming year Ph.D is required for teaching in universities, so you must have to do that as well. Along with that you need to clear exams like UGC NET JRF in order to teach in the universities only that will be worth. All the best.
