For BBA and B.Com, it is very simple, they have a mass recruitment and campus placements for high academy toppers, but salary packages are not so good. It is around INR. 1 Lacs to INR. 2 Lacs per annum. So, I will recommend you will choose better University than Punjab University for BBA and B.Com,

As far I know, you can't switch the course in the middle. You have to start the BBA course from the beginning itself. So, in short, no you can’t switch the course the way you mentioned above in the question.
