In the normal course, it will take 3 years for you to complete CA after graduation in general, and after B.Com in particular. After B.Com examination, you can opt for provisional registration for CA-Intermediate. Before the results are out, you can successfully complete one-month course of ICITSS. Armed with results, you can convert your provisional into full registration for CA Intermediate, and thereafter join articleship under a practising Chartered Accountant. On completion of 9 months of articleship, you are eligible to write CA Intermediate Examination. On completion of 2.5 years of articleship, you are eligible to write CA Final Examination, provided you have passed both the groups of CA Intermediate examination by then. Once you pass both the groups of CA Final Examination, you are eligible to apply for Associate Membership of ICAI, and with this, you become a Chartered Accountant.

DAV College (DAVC) was established in the year 2005 in Chandigarh. The college is affiliated to Punjab University, Chandigarh. DAV, Chandigarh offers B.A. B.Com B.Sc. BBA BCA B.Voc. (IT) admission requires candidates to have a BCA/ BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc. (Hons. ). In Computer Science/ Home Science with Mathematics/ Computing. The candidates in both these courses are selected on the basis of merit only. For M.A. The candidates must possess a graduate degree in Arts/ Commerce/ Science with minimum 40% marks. Selection criterion depends upon the academic merit along with the Written & Oral Aptitude Test conducted by the concerned department of the University. M.Sc. Physics/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Mathematics requires a graduate (Hons. /General) degree in relevant subject with minimum 50% marks. Selection is based on the score of PU-CET (PG) conducted by PU. Admission in PG Diploma courses requires candidates to have secured a Bachelors degree in any stream from any recognised University/ Institution. The candidates are selected on the spot on the basis of first-come-first-served.
