In terms of salary just after B.Sc, they are almost equivalent. But in my opinion CS definitely has the edge because of wider range of opportunities and job available. With CS you can also enter into the highly lucrative area of data mining (salaries in crores if you go abroad). You can go for higher education M.Sc PhD. IT graduates also earn a lot (similar to CS) but the problem is many Indian universities don't take IT degree for higher education. Research fields are limited (they are wide of course but I am talking w.r.t. CS). Also thanks to the stigma attached to technical degrees IT B.Tech are more preferred vis. a vis IT B.Sc (sa

Hi,
It is majorly dependent on the organisation from where you take up the course. To the extent of studies they are not greatly different. When it comes to job, it again drops down to the institute from where you complete your PGDM or MBA. Generally, colleges or B-schools assist in placements in that case there is not much of difference. In case you go out in the market without campus placement, then what counts more is your institute than PGDM or MBA.

Hello Parth,
The highest package being offered for this year by Amazon was Rs. 15.20 LPA where 2 students got placed and the average package as on date is Rs. 7.75 LPA.
Around 60 % of the batch is placed at present. The companies visiting for 2018 include HDFC Bank, Ernst & Young, Amazon, Housing First Finance Company, ICICI bank, ITC and JSPL.
Any good college can best do is to invite the companies and further it is the effort of the student to earn a place for him.

If you see your specialisation very clearly and you are very passionate about it then go for M.Com or you still have many options to choose in MBA like sales and marketing, HR and finance.

For CS and civil both have maths up to 3 semesters. But CS has more maths in the later semester as compared to civil. Don't fear from maths. Choose according to your choice. If you go for BBA there is much less maths than B.Tech.
