It depends on your future plans. If you wish to appear for government jobs or become an academician, than M.Com is better but generally private sectors prefer students with MBA degree.

You have multiple options after B.Com such as MCA, M.Com, MBA, finance certifications.

If you are planning for distance education go for M.Com.
Doing MBA in distance mode is not a good choice.
