Candidates selected for provisional admission to the BCom course at Prestige College must report to the campus on the date specified by the college. They must bring along the following documents for physical verification:

• Copy of mark sheets for Class 10 and Class 12
• Transfer Certificate (original)
• Migration Certificate (original)
• Affidavit (for change in name/surname)
• A copy of the Conduct and Character Certificate from the Principal of the last institute/school
• 5 Photographs of the candidate
• 1 Photograph of the Father and 1 of the Mother
• Caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates
• Jain Minority certificate for the Jain community
•  Gap certificate in case of any gap during study

Prestige Institute of Management and Research grants BCom admission to applicants based on their Class 12 merit. Moreover, applicants must fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria to secure a seat. Eligible candidates must visit the institute's official website to register and apply for admission. After the seat allocation, candidates must report to the institute with original documents for verification. They must also submit the applicable PIMR Indore BCom fee within the stipulated time. Candidates can also seek admission assitance from the institute's admission coordinators by calling them on the contact numbers available on the official website.

In BCom Honours, students may select a few optional subjects for specialisation in various areas. Some of the common optional subjects are Corporate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Management, Income Tax, Auditing, Business Statistics, Business Mathematics, Financial Markets and Institutions, and International Business. Students select 4-6 optional subjects during their second and third years, depending on the curriculum of a particular university. For example, if Delhi University offered students 12 optional subjects in BCom Honours, University of Calcutta allowed student candidates eight. With the selection of optional subjects, students develop specialised skills and expertise in the areas of finance, accounting, or taxation.
