AITAM BTech curriculum is spread over eight semesters. The course follows a credit-based evaluation system. In the first year, students are introduced to the fundamental subjects in BTech such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Basic Engineering, and Computer Programming. Value addition subjects scuh as communication skills and environmental studies are also taught. In the second year, the curriculum moves into core branch-specific subjects depending on the chosen specialisation. In the final year, the focus shifts towards real-world application of the curriculum by including internships and projects.

You can look through the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET website, which maintains previous exams, for EAMCET practice questions for 2023–2024. They can also be found on some educational websites. Seniors and teachers at AITAM, Tekkali, may even be able to help you, as many of them retain previous exam practice papers.

The placement data for AITAM BTech is not published yet. From past records of 2023, AIMAT recorded the highest package of INR 8 LPA for its BTech programme. The maximum number of selections were made from Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch during the placement season. Previously in 2022, the highest package stood at INR 6.75 LPA. Several reputed companies participated during the AITAM placement drive.

The selection criteria for AITAM BTech is based on the scorecard of JEE Main, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh ECET. The admission process is completely online. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the institute. Foremost, candidates need to fulfill AITAM BTech eligibility criteria to be considered for admissions.

Yes. Candidates seeking admission through JEE Main must register separately on the NTA JEE Main portal to appear for the exam and on the AITAM website to apply for admission. Both registrations are mandatory for admission inot the BTech programme. Along with that, students can also apply through Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh ECET.

AITAM accepts scorecards of JEE Main, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, and Andhra Pradesh ECET for BTech admission. Candidates must register on the respective entrance exam portal, appear for the test, and then apply to AITAM with a valid scorecard. AITAM MBA selection process is entirely entrance-based. Candidates can register for AITAM MBA programme on the official university website. Then, candidates are shortlisted based on their Andhra Pradesh ICET scores. Once candidates are allotted a seat, they must pay the first-year tuition fee of around INR 83,200. Fee payment is an important step to secure the seat. The admission process concludes with an orientation session before classes begin in August.
