Hi,
BE Aeronautical Engineering is a 4-year Under Graduate (UG) course with a specialisation in the field of aviation and aerodynamics. The minimum eligibility criterion which most of the institutes ask for is a score of at least 60% to 70% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) at 10+2 or equivalent level.

Hello Shaik,
1)Huge Campus
2) Good Faculty, Very Few (Hope they remain by your time)
Cons
1) Labs equal to None (Many instruments are not working and we were just told to write manual without performing)
2) Industrial visit (Rarely planned industrial visit, we had only two -one at Indus university and other at Airport, which doesn't relate much to the practical/industry exposure)
3) Placements, as per my knowledge and from the words of my friends in Last year there will be no core company visiting for the branch. Let just go off core branch, who will like to work in IT local company after spending Lacs of fees.
4) Fees, The annual tuition fe

Hello S Sangeetha,
I think you are looking at the wrong place. Rajiv Gandhi International Airport will normally not employ any Aeronautical Engineer. Aeronautical Engineering graduates will get employment in ISRO, DRDO, Armed Forces or some industries in the field of aerospace.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Suhail,
These days almost all govt or govt owned organisations use GATE score for screening students whom they want to employ. Some court rulings also has made it impossible for such institutions to take part in placements process. However, you can apply directly based on advertisement on the website.

Presently in India, the core jobs of Aeronautical Engineering graduates are perhaps available only in ISTO or DRDO or to some extent with the armed forces. The aerospace industry in India has not yet developed to an extent where it can absorb all those who are passing out from this branch. The net result is that the graduates of this branch are doing MBA or get some government job based on graduation or go abroad for do
