There are hardly any colleges under MHT CET offering these two branches. Practically anyone who passes MHT CET will get admission in Aeronautical Engineering branch. For marine engineering the process is different in that there is a different entrance test that needs to be cleared. Best wishes to you.

St. Peter College of Engineering is average college. Aeronautical Engineering got downside industry nowadays. But, it has good scope in future. You need to focus only on top ten colleges in aeronautical engineering for guaranteed placement. Madras institute of technology, Satyabhama institute of Science and technology, SASTRA University are best options than St. Peter's according to ranking, reputation, placement statistics. All the Best for your future.

These days almost all govt or govt owned organisations use GATE score for screening students whom they want to employ. Some court rulings also has made it impossible for such institutions to take part in placements process. However, you can apply directly based on advertisement on the website.

IIM in in Ahmedabad is a very typical and special management institute. It desire's that the class should contain as wide variation of students as possible. Hence many times it gives admissions to students from different backgrounds for different streams who have not scored well in their entrance exam. However I feel that you have good chances of securing admission if you do well in the entrance exam that is conducted by IIM's for admissions.
Best wishes to you.

Sathyabama Institute and Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. It's quite tough to compare such two big and well known Institutions for the courses which they conduct. This is so since many a times the basis on which we compare are dynamic in nature and have a propensity for change like the faculty, the placements, etc. However to help you I am attaching a link that has comparison between these two institutes. My personal opinion is that you should take admission in any of the Institutions where you get. https://www.shiksha.com/resources/college-comparison-hindustan-university-Chennai-vs-sathyabama-university-Che

As per the different reports available online, job prospects in core area for Aeronautical engineers is indeed a big concern. Majority of the Bachelors of this branch are preferring to go abroad for their MS or do their MBA in India or abroad. Very few get the placements but situation is expected to change as the time goes by. Those who are placed the salaries are as good as for the engineers from other branches.
Best wishes to you.
