After 12th science, aircraft maintenance engineering is best because after completing this course, you will get many job opportunities than that of aeronautical engineering, hence A.M.E. is the best.

Out of the two institutions that you have mentioned, Indian Institute of Space Technology, promoted by ISRO definitely is superior. It's faculty and facilities are the best in the country. Best wishes to you.

100% placements is actually an uthopia, of course presently perhaps IT or CSE are the branches where placements nearing 100% is happening. The latest report by the Ministry of HRD of the Government of India has claimed that the average figure of placements for fresh graduates is just about 50%. The case is no better or no worse for aeronautical engineering branch. In fact, in India, the chances of placements in the core work area for aeronautical engineers is much worse since perhaps only DRFO and ISRO are the agencies who recruit aeronautical engineers. Unfortunately, for majority of the Indian states and majority of the deemed to be universities, there is no direct admission based on your 12th results. However, some deemed to be universities do give admission directly based on your 12th result if you are in the top bracket or you are a rank holder for 12th. The only state where you can get admission in any of the engineering colleges without appearing for any entrance exam is Tamil Nadu. You also can seek admission under the quota of other states in this southern state of India. Else you will have to appear for some or the other entrance test to get admission in not

For the admissions in LPU, in aeronautical engineering, the mess fee is INR 30,500/-
The hostel fee is INR 46500/- cooler 4 seater and INR 56500/- air-conditioned 4 seater
INR 36500/- cooler 5 seater and INR 46500/- air-conditioned 5 seater
INR 56500 3 seater cooler and INR 66500/- air-conditioned 3 seater
For semester fee, it is INR 94500/- per semester, but for you after scholarship, INR 40000 per semester. Kindly note that the hostel and mess fee mentioned above are per year.
