Acharya and Dayanand, both these institutions have great academic reputation and one need not worry on that count. But, it's difficult to place one with the other. I feel you can join any one if these two. Best wishes.

The two types of aerospace engineers include aeronautical engineers (They work with aircraft that stay within the earth's atmosphere such as airplanes and helicopters.). And, astronautically engineers (They work with aircraft that operate outside of the earth's atmosphere such as rockets, satellites, and other and spacecraft.). A degree in aerospace engineering should cover them both. As for the future, it is hard to say. According to the US Occupational Outlook Handbook, employment for aerospace engineers is expected to grow about 5% from 2010 to 2012 which is a little slower than average.

Yes, it is good. The demand is always there including in aerospace software and electronics development i.e. avionics part.
Aircrafts have to be maintained and serviced regularly for efficiency, safety and air-worthiness. Aircraft maintenance engineers work under the direct supervision and guidance of aeronautical engineers for the maintenance of aircraft frame, engine, electrical systems and other ancillary fittings.

Hello Pradip,
SGU in Kolhapur is not an institution formed for minorities and hence there is no minority quota in this institution. I am attaching a link that will give all the required information:

Hello Bharath,
Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology has a vibrant placements cell and they make all out efforts to see that all students are placed. However their efforts of course would be limited by economic condition of the country. By the time you pass out, I am sure that employment situation would have improved drastically and you would then have no problems of getting placed.

For IIT-B, the cut-offs in the past few years have been between 1.5K and 2K for aerospace. The same has been ~2.5K-2.7K for IIT-K, and ~3K for IIT-M and IIT-KGP.
Regarding marks, scoring slightly above 50% of the max marks will surely land you with a rank close to 2k, which is sufficient for getting Aerospace at IIT-K, IIT-KGP, IIT-M but maybe not IIT-B.
Get around 1015 marks more, and you will nail IIT-B aerospace.
