To study Space Technologies and Research, you should either opt for aeronautical engineering or instrumentation and control engineering. Aeronautical will train you in a lot of relating subjects as well. In India, there are no specific courses for space studies during under-graduation and Manipal offers the best possible combination of subjects through its electives that you would need to take up space studies for higher education.

However there are hardly any core jobs in this field and I feel college must be finding it hard to place students. Aeronautical engineering degree will not fetch you any job in airport. You will get job in an engineering company or research facility. For getting job on airport, you need to do three years' AME or different courses offered by travel and tourism colleges.
