With experts predicting that many jobs will be obsolete within the next decade due to the technology revolution, drones - and the demand for drone pilots - emerged as a key growth industry. Hello Fahd,
I am afraid your dream of getting admission via lateral mode in IIT Madras needs a little amendment. IIT's do not give lateral admission but accept diploma as equivalent to class 12th and give admission. Hence, if you have scored 75% or more in your Diploma then you can appear for JEE Mains and then JEE advanced for admission.
Best wishes to you.

Hi Kudapa,
Both streams are best in their place. As now the aviation career is at it's peak, so I suggest you to join aeronautical engineering. In future there are so many openings of new airports, as well and the UAV industry is also on its way of growing.
