Aerospace Engineering deals with both aircraft that operate within Earth's atmosphere and spacecraft that operate beyond it. To make it simple for you, Aeronautical is a part of Aerospace Engineering where you only focus on design, development, and maintenance of aircraft.

Yes, you can join aeronautical engineering without KCET as there are some other exams like JEE, BITSAT, MET through which you can join or either there are some private colleges which give admission on the basis of 12 th result.

If you have completed Class 12th with PCM subjects and have a minimum score of 50 to 60% in board exams, you are eligible to pursue courses in Aeronautical Engineering after 12th. Also, a keen interest in aviation, aircraft, and understanding how they fly is important for motivation and success in this business field. Problem-solving, creative and analytical skills are also highly valuable in this field.
While there is no as such age limit, mostly students are between 17-21 years old when they take admission to UG level Aeronautical Engineering courses.
