Hello Vatsal, Its really a matter of perspective. These two courses deal in different fields and hence comparison of contents of course should not be done. But on the other hand if one compares opportunities for job then AME is far superior to aeronautical engineering. This is so since passenger and cargo traffic is increasing every year. Thus airlines are buying more aeroplanes. This in turn has increased the requirement of trained professionals of AME.

Go for PCM with any other optional subject such as CS, physical education or Hindi. Just score more and try to get a seat in IIST or IISER, Bangalore. Do hard work, focus and score more in JEE Mains.
Best of luck.

Hello Navneet, This college named after the late parliamentarian is in spacious campus in Raebareilly, a mid sized town in UP. There are conflicting reports on the academic atmosphere. Some say it is "laisse fair" and on the other extreme some say it has best faculty. But I suppose truth must be between these two extremes. If this is so then I would rec you to grab admission if you are getting.

Hello Yogeshbhai,
Almost every state has established a committee for deciding on the fees that can be charged by any engineering college. The committee takes into account all aspects of expenditure viz building and infrastructure, salaries of staff, some other essential expenditure and of course reasonable profit. Every college that desires to increase the fee need to undergo scrutiny by this committee before the rise in the fee is accepted.

Hello Kirupa, Of course yes. You can definitely pursue Ph.D. after completion of your PG in aeronautics. Only thing is you will have to follow standard procedure prescribed by the university for this purpose. Best wishes.

Hello Adarsh, In a way both are in the field of aeronautics. I will try to answer in a different manner. Engineering courses leading to graduation can be started only after approval by AICTE. On the other hand Aircraft Maintenance Engineering though called engineering actually is not engineering. These courses of three years duration are approved by DGCA. From opportunities for job, AME is much better presently in India since civilian flying is booming in India needing more planes & in turn more AME's!

Dear Venkatesh, after Diploma in Engg.you can get admission in second year of B.Tech. There are universities that are going to offer you admission on the basis of state/ national level tests as well as their own tests or on the basis of your marks in Diploma.
Universities like LPU, offer you good scholarships too.
Check their website for more details.
