If you study aerospace from IITs or IISc then you will have good scope but if you study it from a private college then the value will be less.

Hello,
There are many colleges in Telangana offering aeronautical engineering. Admission would be based on EAMCET. Placements are important for every college but it depends on country's economic situation. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information:

Hello Niharika, What matters most is the abilyif the student. An average student will get admission in an average college only. Fees are these days, are regulated by a committee and hence no college can charge exorbitant fees. You will get admission in college depending on your rank in your state's CET.

Hello Zishan, Even if it's very late to answer, I will make an attempt since a very interesting issue. Frankly speaking, the college makes a great impact at initial placement. However as you progress it's only your ability that matters and not from where you passed out. In government sector, it makes no difference absolutely. But believe me, your knowledge and ability to grasp, analyse and problem solving attitude is what matters most.

Hello Saquib, It's nice to know that you are interested in doing Aeronautical Engineering. Yes, you are eligible for lateral admission after Diploma in ME. But there are very few colleges that offer this branch, primarily perhaps due to very less opportunities of employment. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about colleges offering this branch in Maharashtra. https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/colleges/b-tech-in-aeronautical-engineering-colleges-maharashtra.

Hello Parikshith, It's indeed heartening to know that you are interested in higher studies. I would advise strongly that you go for AME rather than Aeronautical Engineering branch. This is so since opportunities in later are rather limited and you would be competing with mechanical engineers for many jobs. On the other hand, opportunities for AME are increasing with each passing year as can be seen by reports of each commercial airlines announcing procurement of large number of aircraft.

Hello Shravan, It's a good query that you have asked. But I will modify it to say "career for an aeronautical engineer". Presently in India the situation is actually grim. There are only handful of institutions and that too mostly in government sector that offer employment. ISRO / DRDO / Armed Forces / HAL / BEML to name few. Hence no college can boast of placement including IIT's. However it is expected that in coming years the situation will improve and hence any college offering this branch will be in a better situation to enable placements.

Dude, this is actually my case. Even I got 98% in my 11th and 12th and even I've not written any objective r any entrance exam. And, I preferred Aeronautical Engineering in NMIT, Yelahanka, Bangalore. And my fee structure is of 3 lakhs per annum because of my absence in objective exam. I'm very much interested in aeronautics and I preferred the best institute for it. Even, I would suggest you the same.
