Yes, you will get admission in aeronautical engineering after completing Diploma in mechanical engineering.
I would suggest, you should continue with mechanical engineering because it has a huge scope in near future and
you can also go in the aeronautical field after that.

Hello MD Fahad,
It's good to know that you want to become an astronaut. But unfortunately only one Indian national has become an astronaut till now. He was a fighter pilot in IAF.
Aerospace is the name of the industry that produces aeronautical products.
A lot of colleges offer aeronautical engineering. IIT's, NIT's and many others.

Fresh Aeronautical Engineers from IITs can get starting salary of Rs 6 to 12 Lakhs per annum in India depending on the type of company. Salaries in Western developed countries will vary between 60K USD to 100K USD per annum. Some brilliant students who have written and published technical papers may get higher salaries in countries like USA or Germany.

Hello Shikhar,
Entrance exams, subsequent merit list or Ranking are the inevitable evils you have to face today. Earlier, you accept it the better.
No college worth mentioning accepts students without entrance exam.
