There are very limited number of engineering colleges which allows Diploma holders to seek admission in B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering by lateral entry. Therefore, it will be better if you seek admission in B.Tech Aeronautical Engineering only after 10+2 by appearing in JEE and other engineering entrance examinations.

It is necessary that your eyesight are not very weak. You have to draw ED or MD sheets and for that, your eyes should not be weak. But if your eyes are weak, you should do pranayama and yoga as this will be very beneficial. Your drawing and physics should be good. If you don't like physics very much, you shouldn't choose this course.
I hope you understand.

Hi,
The range of b.tech in Canada is somewhere between 10 to 20 lakhs depending on the provinces and universities. For UK, the cost would be 15 lakhs and more per year. This doesn't include the cost of living.

IIT Mumbai offers a course in Aeronautical engineering. It's probably the best college to offer any course. However, there are many other good colleges which include VJTI, Indian Aerospace and Engineering, Thakur Institute of Aviation technology etc. that offer such courses.

The scope of aerospace engineering depends on which area you want to specialse in. Like as follows:
HAL (Mostly Aircraft Structures)
NAL (Aerodynamics and Materials)
ISRO- Well ISRO does not have a separate recruitment for Aerospace engineers, you'll have to look into materials, electronics, and structures.
And there are private companies like GE, Honeywell, etc.
Although my suggestion would be to never settle just after Bachelors in aerospace, this is a very vast stream and Masters is kind of mandatory. A Bachelors pay scale may range between Rs. 20,000-45,000 per month. However, a Masters can actually increase the pay by about 3 times.
