Aircraft maintenance engineering is actually not an engineering course approved by AICTE. It's a course that teaches you about maintenance of civil aircraft and enables DGCA certification.
Prospects are of course good.

Hello Roshan,
If we see dictionary, meaning becomes clear. Aerospace is the industry of aeronautics. However, in India both are intermingled and used whatever way. So just ignore & consider both as one.
In India presently, the requirements of professionals of this branch is quite less but I'd expected

Since you want to pursue aeronautical engineering some of the best colleges are DTU, BITS-Pilani, SRM University, BIT-Mesra, etc.

Approximately, the fee over four year period is around 7L. Another about 2L for hostel. So the total comes to around 9L. However, be advised that you must contact administration of the university for exact details.
