Yes, if you are interested in Aeronautical Engineering then you can pursue that. There is a good career scope in Aeronautical Engineering but salary structure and growth may be slow in this field.

Aeronautical Engineering is a niche branch of engineering with limited career opportunities, therefore, based on your criteria of opportunities, scope and salary, you may go ahead with B.Tech IT.

Without doubt NITs or CFTIs are the best bet after IITs. You will have to clear JEE Mains with good marks to get admission. These institutions have good faculty members and robust placement cell.

If you are completing your graduation in technical then you can but you have to qualify some entrance exams like LEET.

Aeronautical and automobile engineering are best fields to pursue engineering but as for future aspects, go for automobile engineering.

Aircraft maintenance engineering is actually not an engineering course approved by AICTE. It's a course that teaches you about maintenance of civil aircraft and enables DGCA certification.
Prospects are of course good.

If we see dictionary, meaning becomes clear. Aerospace is the industry of aeronautics. However, in India both are intermingled and used whatever way. So just ignore & consider both as one.
In India presently, the requirements of professionals of this branch is quite less but I'd expected to increase in years to come. It is expected to be good four years from today.
