Aerospace engineering is mainly offered at PG level in India in most of the reputed colleges. You can look for IISC for it. Abroad also, your first year is general courses related to engineering and you choose specialization or majors after a year. Germany, USA, Canada are the places to be.

IITs and some deemed universities offer similar programmes. IIST, Thiruvananthapuram offers B Tech programmes in Aerospace Engineering. AMAeSI is considered equivalent to B Tech in Aeronautical Engineering in industry and is a voluntary membership offered by Aeronautical Society of India.

As for the job opportunities are concerned, well there are reservation everywhere but this does not restricts you from getting good job opportunities, provided you have good academic track record and fulfill other requisites as required by the companies based on the vacancies available.
