It can't be decided on the basis of marks since marks vs rank statistics change every year depending on the level of difficulty.
If your JEE advanced rank is below 8000 then you surely get a seat .This year, rank fall down to 9500 I guess since lots of seats left vacant after final round and then they did spot round admission .
But on being safer side try to get below 8000. All the best for your exam

I had a similar situation like this last year and I was just feeling like if I had been able to score 15 more then my rank would have boosted by 1500 to 2000 approximately. So you kind of feel dejected and you feel like on the one hand that you are qualified to be an IITian and on other hand, you think you won't be getting your desired branch or desired IIT. Make sure that you are an OBC-NCL candidate not only OBC, then based on your percentile which you are saying, your chances of getting admission in NITs are good but still you have to wait for few rounds.

Dear Sobam, Each nation decides whether to permit foreigners to work there based on its own requirements. Americans and Britons both permit foreign nationals to work. Graduates of aeronautical engineering who work for NASA are included in this. On the other hand, foreigners are not permitted to work for ISRO or DRDO in India. Good day, Krutik Pathak. It's quite sad that your question has reached me now, two years after you first posted it. However, it still pertains to academics, so I answered. Diploma holders may apply for lateral entry admission to the second year of a four-year degree programme. The admissions process is always handled by the involved state's dte of technical education. You can also apply for admission to engineering or any other course at private or institutions that are recognised to be universities using your Diploma as the equivalent of a 12th-grade education. Likewise in IIT. I wish you well.

Hello Jay Makwana, sadly the answer is no. Engineering for aircraft maintenance is actually a B.Sc. Course. Admission to these A.M.E. Courses is made possible by the A.M.E. CET. You must take various CET exams, like as JEE Mains, in order to get admitted to B.Tech programmes, etc. At the national level or your state's CET. I wish you well.
