Aerospace engineering is very specialised branch. Obviously, placements sometimes are tricky. Mechanical engineering is evergreen and placement is almost always assured.

The minimum marks required to take admission in SPA Delhi is 50% for SC category candidate and 60% for open category candidate. NATA stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture. The admission in UVOCCE is done through a Single Window Admission System administered by Anna University. The higher secondary marks are scaled to 200, based on which the merit list/ ranks are released. Counseling is conducted based upon the ranking.
The admission notice is published in all the leading news papers and in the University website.
Eligibility criteria for BE Geo-Informatics : The admission to UG programmes (4years) is purely based on the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary examinations.

The process for other recognitions are underway. So, the institute is legal and the students shall receive a valid degree. And regarding placements, the task is currently taken care of by Amity University Noida which successfully gets recruiters like DRDO and ISRO for placements (no placement round at Mumbai campus so far, and only one batch of seniors from Aerospace for the coming batch). In my opinion, all this may be sufficient to decide whether or not to apply for the institution, the rest of your career will be in your hands irrespective of your college. Anyroad, Amity University Mumbai is much better than many other local college

The state-of-the-art facilities (wind tunnels/supercomputing facilities) provide for easy experimenting. The professors are adept at carrying out research and teaching. This is mostly because 80% of them are IIT alumni-US Ph.D. So they have a very good understanding of how IITians should be taught. Having gone through similar experiences, they are always willing to help out. This is a huge advantage. Aerospace and automobile companies contribute to most of the core sector placements in the branch. Rolls Royce, Airbus, GE, Honeywell, TATA Motors, Mercedes Benz RnD, Mahindra, QuEST Global, Mathworks, Lennox, TVS Motors, Eaton, Atkins, an

IIT-Mumbai is far better than IIT-Kharagpur in all streams though many times CSE placement statistics clash with one another when talking about infrastructure. In aerospace branch the highest placement from Aerospace in IIT, Bombay is Rs.23 Lacs in Airbus France whereas it was 19 Lacs in IIT, Kharagpur from Boeing. Also, the average placement packages were 13 Lacs and 10 Lacs in the respective institutes. Although it is tougher to get into IIT-Mumbai than in IIT-Kharagpur, so one may also opt for aerospace in IIT, Kanpur which is there in all the IITs.
