Frankly speaking, opportunities for working in core competencies is very very limited in India. Many graduates of aeronautical engineering end up doing MBA or PG or software related work or general maintenance or production work.

A Nepali student will normally be not allowed admission by any state govt since almost all seats are reserved for domicile candidates. However, Nepalese students can seek admission to Institutions controlled by Central Govt and colleges under the purview of Deemed Universities.

Your intentions and dreams are indeed good. But it is not easy. Both these states have restricted admissions to only domiciles of their state. However, if you want to study in only either of these states then you have the option of doing your JEE Mains and Advanced and seek admission in NIT or IIT of these states.

It's really good to know your dream of becoming an engineer from IIT. Nothing to worry. Diploma holders are considered as equivalent to 12th. I hope you have scored 75% here, as it's minimum required. Now you appear for JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. Score good marks and admission is yours.

IIT Bombay is one of the best college for B.Tech in India but all college are doubted about placement and it totally depends upon your luck for getting placement. Previous year placement in IIT Bombay is 84.37%. So, you may be in 84% or may in 16%. So, it is not compulsory its upon your luck, wish and study for placement details, visit the link provided:

Aerospace is a branch that need experience and expertise. They can help you with good package. You need to have a Master's degree.

There are caste wise cut off marks to clear JEE Mains which vary every year.
