Talking about aerospace engineering in IIT-Kanpur. Everyone knows IIT-Kanpur is one of the best government colleges in India. Big companies like Eaton, GE, Airbus and Honeywell, visit the campus. Apart from these, companies like L&T and ISRO also visit the campus.
If we talk about the faculties out there, you will get the finest bunch of supportive and humble faculties. Aerospace is one of the oldest branches of IIT-Kanpur. Hence, research facilities are excelle

Hello Aditya,
You can prepare by scoring good marks while passing out of diploma school. Then seek lateral admission in college of your choice in your state offering Aeronautical engineering. Else based on diploma appear for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced to get admission in one of the IIT's for your fav course.

Please refer to the link provided below for a list of top colleges where you can pursue MS in Aerospace. You should apply for counselling as soon as possible. Do not wait for the admission process as that happens all year round. Waste as little time as possible and get on it right now.

The problem with aerospace engineering branch is that you just cannot consider doing it from every other college or you would be forced to join some IT company with an average placement of 3.5-4 LPA.
This is also the case with Chandigarh University, where the training and placement cell of the college fails to attract a number of core companies in the department of aerospace, considering the lesser number of opportunities for an aerospace engineer in India.
So you will be asked to sit for an IT company if getting placed appeals you the most.
Other than that, if you really want to remain in the core field you should consider doing your

Hello Shubham,
Yes, you can get admission in IIT's based on your diploma. But remember, diploma is considered as equivalent to 12th & hence you will have to score at least 75% in diploma besides clearing JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced.

Hello Upendra,
First of all just don't worry. Admissions to engineering colleges are through one or the other entrance exams. Start preparing for JEE Mains and your state's CET. Remember have dream of being in 75 percentile. This will ensure admission in top rung college.
Best wishes

B.Tech course in Jain University is provided by IIAEM. According to the students there, here is a list of the pros and cons of joining the programme including placement stats in the CONS.
Pros:
You can overwhelmingly say I'm from the aerospace branch.
If you have a lot of money you can spend on building some quadcopter and RC flights.
Cons:
1.High tuition fee for the aerospace branch, hostel fee (but it has the best hostel in Karnataka).
2.Around 97.5% of people join aerospace just because of its name, there you are not going to learn anything.
3.Only 1 maybe 2 companies visit for campus recruitment and only 1 or 2 may get selected.
4. Ony 5-7
