You can prepare by scoring good marks while passing out of diploma school. Then seek lateral admission in college of your choice in your state offering Aeronautical engineering. Else based on diploma appear for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced to get admission in one of the IIT's for your fav course.

It has many courses to offer out of which aerospace engineering has about 60 seats to offer to the students interested in aerospace engineering.
It is well known for its good infrastructure faculties and facilities provided by them like Wi-Fi and sports complex.The lab FACILITIES in the karunya University is very good and it provides hands on experience to the students of Aerospace engineering which helps them in the placement.

This is also the case with Chandigarh University, where the training and placement cell of the college fails to attract a number of core companies in the department of aerospace, considering the lesser number of opportunities for an aerospace engineer in India.
So you will be asked to sit for an IT company if getting placed appeals you the most.

Yes, you can get admission in IIT's based on your diploma. But remember, diploma is considered as equivalent to 12th & hence you will have to score at least 75% in diploma besides clearing JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced.

First of all just don't worry. Admissions to engineering colleges are through one or the other entrance exams. Start preparing for JEE Mains and your state's CET. Remember have dream of being in 75 percentile. This will ensure admission in top rung college.

Pros:
You can overwhelmingly say I'm from the aerospace branch.
If you have a lot of money you can spend on building some quadcopter and RC flights.
Cons:
1.High tuition fee for the aerospace branch, hostel fee (but it has the best hostel in Karnataka).
2.Around 97.5% of people join aerospace just because of its name, there you are not going to learn anything.
3.Only 1 maybe 2 companies visit for campus recruitment and only 1 or 2 may get selected.
4. Ony 5-7
