Aeronautical engineering is a specialisation withing aerospace engineering. It is difficult to say which subject is easier. It all depends on your interest and the course structure only. This indeed varies from one college to the other and also your approach to the subjects.

IITs are best in class for aerospace engineering, apart from IITs, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram is the next best institute for this course. Other colleges you can look for are:

Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai

There is no doubt that IITs are best in class for aerospace engineering and apart from IITs Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram is the next best institute for this course. Other colleges you can look for are:

Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Chennai
