There are many medical test which is conducted. But there is no mention of physical tests like running. Exercise is mentioned but I think it is pushup may be. For ground work, I think physical fitness is required.

Yes, tests are always there. So, you have to apply accordingly with full zeal.

You can only apply for ground duty (non-technical).

If you are asking about AFCAT yes you are eligible for technical posts as mechanical engineering is a technical branch of engineering.

You need to have 60% marks in B.Tech and 60 % marks in physics, math & in aggregate. Also, there is an age requirement.
