Hi Arun!
As you have completed your graduation in B.Sc. Physics, now, you might have the certificate of the same. Now, if you want to make your career in agriculture, then there is no problem in it. Take admission in any agricultural university in graduation course, complete your graduation in agriculture from there and do whatever you love to do.

Diploma in Agriculture: Eligibility
Candidates who have completed the 10th examination in Science stream or an equivalent examination from a recognised board are eligible for Diploma in Agriculture course. Candidates who have passed the 10th examination with 50% of marks are also eligible for this course. The percentage may vary from one college to another. Eligible candidates may apply for this course through online or offline.

Yes, of course your son can pursue agriculture for a bright future, if he has interest in it, but if you are looking for a good salary package then and you should choose another stream. but ,your focus should be on your choices, if you love what you doing then you should proceed.

After B.Sc (zoology, botany and chemistry) graduation you can go for higher studies, M.Sc in Zoology and Botany in order to compete NET of UGC for lectureship. You can also appear for council of scientific industrial research in order to get admission in research course with stipend. You can appear for state service commission or union public service commission for various posts and also, write IBPS for banking jobs of either probationary officer or clerk. You can also join B.Ed course for high school teacher job.

ICAR and B.Tech are two different fields of study. If you have qualified for counselling in ICAR, I would suggest you pursue B.Sc in Agriculture only if your interests lie in the particular field.
