ICAR is not compulsory for B.Sc. Agriculture. You can join through private admission or through state entrance exam ( if there is any ) or entrance exam conducted by the concerned college. Almost all states in India have more than one State Agricultural Universities, which conduct their own entrance

Both are different fields of study and have different scope. Here, I have mentioned scope for both courses so that it is easier for you to decide which course you should pursue. Scope for higher studies after B.Pharma:

First, you need to be eligible for ICAR UG exam or that particular state entrance exam for eg: In Maharashtra, you need to be eligible MCAER exam. Then, you will get seat through counselling or you can go through management seats.

You are eligible to seek admission in B.Sc Agriculture from TNAU, and you can proceed to fill the application form required for admission.
Eligibility Criteria for seeking admission in TNAU is as follows:
Candidates should have passed all the subjects in Academic stream of the Qualifying Examination

If you have completed your Bachelors in Science, you should pursue a PG Diploma in mass communication. Graduate from any stream can pursue this course. Education Qualification : A student should possess Bachelors degree after 10+2+3. The stream in which he/she has attained the degree does't matter.
