DY Patil Agriculture and Technical University offer four different specialisations under its BSc programme for students to choose from. These specialisations are diverse and deal with different fields of study. The specialisations are Agriculture Science, Data Science, Economics, and Business, and Interior Design. The course duration for Data Science, Economics, and Business, Interior design courses is three years. The course duration for Agriculture Science is four years as it’s a Hons programme. The course fees may also differ depending on the choice of specialisation.

The course duration for the programme differed based on chosen specialisation. BSc in Economics, and Business, Data Science, and Interior Design are general courses of three years. The BSc in Agriculture is a Hons programme and is four years long. This particular course also includes research work to be done by the student.

There is no update regarding the cut-off for the year 2024 for B.Sc in Agriculture at Vimla Vikram Mahavidyalaya , however it is expected to go somewhere around 10,000 for the CUET Examination.

Candidates from states other than Tamil Nadu, seeking admission to BSc Agriculture or other UG courses offered at Tamil Nadu Agriculture University are required to appear for the entrance exam conducted by ICAR. Aspiring candidates have to begin their admission process by applying on the official website of ICAR.
For candidates, belonging to the Tamil Nadu state, there is no entrance exam. They just need to meet the eligibility criteria and apply on the official website of TNAU.

Agriculture practice exam is an examination which is conducted for selection of students to various UG, PG courses relating to Agriculture, Veterinary, Farm science, Pharmaceutical Science and Doctoral courses. Candidates with a minimum of 50% in their Class 12 or equivalent examination are eligible for the entrance examination.
