For students who want to pursue a B.Sc. or M.Sc in forensic science, the AIFSET (All India Forensic Science Entrance Test) syllabus is created. It mostly includes material from the Class 12 curriculum in disciplines like mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. It also covers the fundamental elements of forensic science. There are five units in the syllabus:
Living and non-living things, genetic heredity, human illnesses, plant and animal physiology, ecology, and ecosystems are some of the topics covered in biology.

The AIFSET application fee was INR 2,000 for all candidate categories. The application fee has to be paid in online mode, through Credit Card or Debit Card or Net Banking methods.

The AIFSET result is declared after two days of conducting the exam in online mode. The AIFSET result is declared in the form of a merit list and scorecard. Test-takers will have to log in to the website and download their scorecard.
