Aviation is not a specific course. Aviation has many branches. Such as Air Navigation Service, Cabin Crew/ Air Hostess, Cargo Management, Flying/ Pilot Training, Ground Services, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Avionics. I'm going to assume that your interest is Cabin Crew/Air Hostess. For this particular course there are around 140 college/ training institutes in India. An Air Hostess needs to be a person with a pleasing personality as the basic job for them is to take care of the passengers. The basic educational qualification required for Air Hostess is-:
Either 10+2 or equivalent or a Graduation degree. Age should be below 25 years with a minimum height of 154.5-157.5 cms tall. The eyesight should be of 6/6 without glasses, though it may vary from one Airlines to another. Hindi, English is a must with any foreign language which will make an added advantage though not compulsory. Hi, General eligibility criterion for Air Hostess in majority of airlines is as follows: (a) 10+2 pass from a recognised board of education. Some airlines prefer graduates. (b) Age of candidate should be between 18 to 25 years (c) Min height required is 157.5 centimetres and weight should be in proportion to height (d) Good Communication skills with mastery over spoken Hindi, English. Foreign language certification will be good additional qualification.

The rules prescribe different weight limits according to their height and age. For an 18-year-old air hostess with a height of 152 cm, the maximum weight permissible is 50 kg while air hostesses in the age group of 26 to 30 and a height of 152 cm, the weight limit is 56 kg.
