Yes, it's a good course. You are asking for some different from engineering. But the opportunities after completing this are much less. So think about it.

The aircraft engineers mainly deal with the construction, repair, and maintenance of the aircraft. AME graduates with DGCA license are employed by the government and private airlines, corporate, public/private aviation organization. It is a very high paying job.

Hello Kajal,
There are Aeronautical Engineering courses that are controlled by AICTE & hence has to follow all rules there under. Then there are aircraft maintenance courses which trains students on maint of commercial aircraft and these courses are supervised and licensed by DGCA.
Both have enough opportunities and potential.
