AKTU acccepts IPU CET apart from other exams, for admission to BTech courses. The last-round closing ranks for admission were out. To get admission to BTech via IPU CET, the General AI category candidate must have a rank under 151726 for BTech in Computer Science & Engineering. For BTech in Information Technology, the rank must be below 154086 among the General AI category. Evidently, it is possible to get admission to for BTech at 150000 rank in IPU CET.

AKTU JEE Main Cutoff was released for various BTech and other courses. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks for different categories under the All India and Home State quota. Overall, the most in-demand specialisation was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. The last-round closing rank for BTech in CSE among the General AI category was 30752.6.

A total of 50 companies visited the campus AKTU placement 2024 for IET (Institute of Engineering & Technology). Companies such as Sprinklr, Microsoft and Google offered highest package of 53 LPA, 52 LPA and 49.5 LPA.

According to IET (Institute of Engineering and Technology) placement report 2024, more than 60% students were placed. A total 10 international offers and 44 PPOs were made in 2024. 382 students were placed as well. The highest on-campus and off-campus package offered was 53 LPA and 112 LPA.

AKTU marksheet is prepared based on the theory and practical marks of the students. In the last or final year of the course, students are required to submit a project work. As per the official website, non-submission of the project report will not effect the theory marks.

As per the information collated from web, AKTU semester exams are not that tough and students who prepare well in advance find it easy to pass the exam.
