It is a state government university, recognised by AICTE and UGC. The highest package offered at the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, varies from year to year, but in 2022 it was INR 49 LPA. The average package is INR 6–7 LPA, and the highest package is INR 44 LPA.For 2022, the AKTU the highest package was Rs 1.13 crore per annum, offered by Amazon.

As per media reports, 1,531 students were selected in TCS. A total of 318 students were placed with a package of INR 7.60 LPA in TCS Digital and rest 1,213 students were placed with a package of INR 3.60 LPA in TCS Ninja during AKTU placement 2025.

Furthermore, a campus placement drive was organized by an Ed-Tech company on behalf of T&P cell. In this placement drive, MBA and BTech students from affiliated colleges has taken part. According to media report, a total of 12 students have been selected for the post of Sales Executive with CTC of INR 4.12 LPA.
