The seat intake capacity for MSc in Economics is not available on the official website of the Aliah University. However, from the eight MSc specialisations, the highest number of seats are offered in MSc in Statistics and MA/MSc in Geography courses. After the release of the provisional merit list for admission to the MSc course at Aliah University. The university conducts the online counselling for seat allotments, followed by document verification. The university primarily conducts e-counseling for its course. Further, after the counselling process, candidates are required to pay a certain amount of course/admission fee. However, the university only conducts offline counselling for the courses with programme code U 21, U 13, and U 14.

Currently, the information available on the release of the provisional merit list for admissions to MSc courses in the academic batch of 2025 is not explicitly mentioned at the official website of Aliah University. However, as per the previous academic year, the first allotment of the provisional merit list has been released on Aug 30, 2024. According to the information present on the official website of the university, the AUAT examination dates for MSc courses/PG courses are from June 28, 2025, to June 29, 2025. Moreover, the deadline for registration in the AUAT exam is April 20, 2025. Hence, candidates should register themselves for the entrance exam before the deadline and prepare for the entrance examination according to the AUAT syllabus.
