Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering AEEE to offer admissions to candidates in the institutes four-year B.Tech degree programme, and 70% of the available seats are reserved for candidates with AEEE ranks. The cutoff for AEEE varies every year, and on the basis of previous year's trends, the cutoff for Mechanical Engineering branch at the Amrita School of Engineering Coimbatore Campus for open quota was around 3200 and 17300 for state quota. Firstly VIT admission is based on viteee entrance exam. So you need to apply for the exam and do well in the entrance exam. After that based rank you got in entrance exam admission is taken . The only way to get admission to VIT is through entrance exam only not with JEE rank. But they will consider JEE rank and percentile who applied for viteee exam.
