As a friend I would suggest you to first complete your BCA as you have already dedicated your 1 valuable year to it. Also, there are very few good institutes offering a Journalism course at Bachelor level. Keeping in mind your keen interest towards Journalism, I would suggest you to pursue a part time Certificate course in Journalism and after completing your BCA you can opt for a full time PG in Journalism or Mass Comm. Till that time to enhance Journalistic skills you can try Citizens Journalism. Journalism as a career is very challenging and requires a lot of hard work and patience. To become a good journalist you need to have a good command over English, Hindi and your regional language. Apart from good English you also have to be a good listener and an interpreter, so that you are able to convey exactly what is important for the people and how will it effect them.
