To become an Anchor, you have to be a good orator/speaker. There are some qualities required like, knowledge about the event/task for what you are going to host, Language Command, Communication skills etc. You can go for any Diploma course of TV Anchor to just polish yourself. Last but not least, self-confidence is much needed here. And yes, you can become an anchor even from the bio stream. All the Best.

Firstly, you have to be a good speaker and you should have knowledge about that particular task of which you want to go for anchoring, be it news, entertainment, politics, etc. and once you will be able to judge what is in you, you can go ahead and start without getting into any course. Still if you want to polish yourself then not much but yes you can opt for Diploma in news reading, anchoring and reporting.

After joining the course of journalism and mass communication, each and every child have a dream to become a news anchor. But they don't know the ground reality for becoming a news anchor. Dear you have to do struggle for years to become a news anchor of any news channel. Firstly you have to learn the journalistic fundamentals after joining any news channel as intern. And you should have degree or Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication or specifically in Broadcast journalism or news anchoring. You should have good knowledge of current affairs and happenings. Definitely, it's possible if you choose mass communication. Because wherever you will apply for news anchoring, they will ask a graduation degree in mass communication or may be specifically in broadcast journalism or television journalism and production. After that when you will get the degree then, you can't be appointed directly as a news anchor. Firstly, you have to work in field for getting the better knowledge of field. Either it's a political beat or crime one.
