You need to know the basic of animation and you have to give portfolio of your work to get admission for animation. You can try in the following colleges. Vancouver Institute of Media Arts
Seneca College
Ontario College of Art and Design Toronto, Canada
Sheridan College, Oakville.

The computer multimedia programs after 12th are:
BA in computer multimedia
B.Sc in computer multimedia.
Diploma in computer multimedia.
Certification training courses.
The qualification is 12th pass from any type of stream (Science, Commerce or Arts).

Hi Souvik, admission has already commenced for B.Sc+ M.Sc Integrated course in multimedia. You can apply for admission only if your results are out. If you are an ISC candidate I suppose you can apply for it right away.

You can do B.Sc in Film Making and TV Production or B. Design in Film and TV Production and eligibility is that you should have passed 10+2 (with English) or equivalent with a minimum of 50%-60% aggregate marks, subject to valid score in the test for doing UG course. I am enlisting best film schools. You can choose a college based on its location, fee structure, college type, accreditation, etc.

B.Sc in animation and visual effects is complete degree so it won't be possible that you get only the VFX certificate. You can go for a certification course in VFX if you do not plan to go for a degree.
