You can do BM-Bachelor in Mass Media. It is a great field for stuffs related to editing and video making.

You can do fine arts from the university which teaches you about the traditional art and basic knowledge of animation or you can do it from an institute which starts from the basics and you can explore the whereabouts of the industry.
You can learn editing, visual effects and graphic designing if you pick animation course.

You can't pursue B.Sc animation because you should be passed 12th to enter any degree courses otherwise you can pursue Diploma or Masters Diploma which would provide you equal knowledge.

Hi Joel Joseph,
USA has a very good scope for animators and visual effects professionals but getting a job is the tricky part. They have very strict work permit schemes and H1B policies are getting tougher. Read some current affairs. You may check Canada and Ireland. Regarding the placement you may contact the institute directly.

You can change the course from one department to the other within given period of time before class proceedings and till the due date provided by the university. Please check for the last date for the course change and get it done soon. It is definitely possible.

Thakur College, Kandivali doesn't offer B.Sc in animation, it offers B.Sc in aviation.
