Firstly, it is great to know about your interest in animation and to help you I would say that animation industry is one of the fastest emerging fields in India in the current scenario.
You don't require any percentage for doing animation only you need is creativity & passion for animation.
If you are 10+2 then you can go for animation courses. There are various institutes available in India like Arena or Zee Studios.

As you are interested in both. You can go with computers, it tells you about basics of animation also and if you want to focus more on animation then you can also choose multimedia.

Hi, Eligibility Criteria. To apply for animation courses at undergraduate level, one must have passed 12th standard or an intermediate course with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate. For a Diploma in the same, it is necessary to have passed 10th standard with a minimum score of 45 percent.

There are a lot of opportunities in this field like compositor, modeling artist, lighting artist, Animators in the movie post production houses not only in these, there will be a lot in advertising agency, Game designing Industries, TV industry and a lot. Now, it becomes a trend settlers to complicate with software jobs in India. And it has decent salary packages for freshers.

After completing your VFX course (it may be Diploma I think) if you interested in VFX more, to be an professional better to join in job for better experience or If you not interested in job now, then you can continue your studies by joining production Based Training Houses.
