A successful education will allow an interior designer to focus on developing both creative skills and business skills. As with any career, a great deal of learning will also take place on the job and so many skills will be learned and developed throughout the span of an interior designer's career. By combining an interest in and talent for the creative aspects of interior design with the creative and business skills learned in school, most interior designers are well prepared to enter the workforce. First and foremost, graphic designers need creativity. Its hard to come up with new ideas and innovative designs if you don't know how to tap into your creative resources. Figuring out ways to keep your mind sharp and your ideas fresh will help you succeed in a design career. You don't necessarily need artistic skills to land a job in graphic design, but you'll want a general understanding of basic artistic elements to help translate that to the computer. Understanding how to find the right font and knowing how to create your own will go a long way in design success. So, you go for any of the streams, you need skills and experience all well in order to excel in it.
