Hi Ankush,
Yes, you can pursue animation after your 12th irrespective of your stream. However, different colleges have different eligibility hence you have to check all the requirement before you apply.

You can go for a Diploma or certification course only after 10th. Diploma is offered in VFX, 2D Animation, 3D Animation, and CG Arts.10th passed students may also attend animation workshops being organized by training institutes.

For Diploma course, you need to have passed 10th. You need to firstly decide on which institute you wish to apply for and then apply to the same. Before applying, make sure you clarify all your doubts with the institute officials.

Minimum education qualification for a degree and Diploma course in animation is +2 or equivalent. An animator should have an artistic bent of mind with a lot of passion and imaginative skills. They must have expertise in computer design software. Knowledge of programming languages (C+, Java) will be an added benefit.
