While filling out the APSET application form, candidates can choose their exam center. Candidates should make the APSET exam center choice in the order of their preference, as the choice cannot be changed after the submission of the online application form. If you have forgotten your APSET application number, you can regenerate the same by visiting the official website of the exam. Candidates need to login using their mobile number or email ID and date of birth to retreive their APSET application form. Follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website.
- Go to the Login tab.
- Enter the mobile number/ email ID, date of birth and security key.
- APSET application number will appear on the screen.
- Save the application number.

Yes you can appear for the APSET exam again If you fail to clear the exam. There is no limit on the number of attempts in the APSET examination. Candidates who have already cleared the APSET exam and still want to improve their scores can also reappear for the exam. The APSET exam is conducted every year by the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam to determine the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professor or Lecturers in Universities and Colleges of the state.

The APSET application form 2025 will be released soon. Applicants need to carry out the APSET registration by visiting the official website. The APSET last date 2025 to fill out the online application form will be mentioned on the notification. Candidates can submit the applications with a late fee as well.

No, there is no negative marking in the APSET exam. In the APSET exam, Paper 1 and Paper 2 combinedly contain 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper 1 comprises 50 questions of 100 marks and Paper 2 comprises 100 MCQs of 200 marks. Each question is of 2 marks. However, there is no negative marking for wrong answers or unattempted questions in the APSET exam.
